Back again…

It's been just over a month since my last posting. I'm not going to try to back up and write about everything that's been going on in me. There have been some truly fun and exciting things that have happened in me and my family, and I may over time sprinkle those into the blog here. There have also been some very challenging things, and God is stretching me in ways that have been painful. I feel at times like the "Stretch Armstrong" doll, no, wait . . . action figure that we used to play with. I'm excited about what God is doing in me. The process of "becoming" brings with it some ups and downs though. Sometimes in those quiet moments I doubt God, and definitely doubt myself. But God through His word is giving me courage (Read Joshua chap. 1), and He's also filling me with His love that knocks fear out of the park (1John 4:18). So it's good to be back and walk this road together.

One more quick thing. The Harvest crusade was incredible! Nearly 50,000 people attended with about 3700 making a decision to follow Christ. I got to pray with a guy named Mark on Friday night. He was a big, burly guy in his 30's and it was the very first time he'd ever prayed. I got to look into the eyes of someone who's eternity just changed. Awesome!
